Michael Jackson indulged heavily in plastic surgery

Michael Jackson, who was known as the king of pop, was also considered the king of something else. Some would refer to Michael Jackson as the  king of plastic surgery. No one really knows how many plastic surgeries Michael Jackson has had.

Before Michael's tragic death in 2009, he had repeatedly been questioned by the media regarding his appearance. He never really opened up to the media regarding his surgeries. He only admitted to two nose jobs. The verbal conformation only stated the obvious. The technical term for this form of plastic surgery is rhinoplasty. This is one of the most popular forms of plastic surgery among famous actors, models and musicians.

Like many other famous people Michael Jackson attempted to hide his plastic surgeries from the public. The public and media speculation was that Michael Jackson had over a dozen surgeries done to his face.

People magazine did an interview with Dr. Wallace Goodstein. Dr. Goodstein shared a practice with Michael Jackson's surgeon. He stated that he had seen Michael in the adjoining office more than 10 times in one week. What Michael was doing in the office is open to speculation.

Goodstein claimed that Michael had multiple surgeries on different areas of his face including his cheeks, chin and even his eyelids.Pictures of Michael do show tremendous differences in his appearance over the years.

One of the most obvious changes in Michael Jackson's appearance was the drastic change over time of his skin color. He continuously reassured the press that this was due to a skin disease called vitiligo.

Why did Michael continuously seek to change his appearance? At some point it was believed to be to correct the initial surgeries.

Michael was not alone in his quest to alter his appearance. Many famous actors and musicians have indulged in plastic surgeries. None of them are probably as dramatic as the outcomes of the many plastic surgeries of Michael Jackson.
