Prior to making any excuses, think about all the possible ways out there to improve your health. Although this is not a complete list about how you can live a healthier and fuller life, it is a starting point to make the best out of your emotional, and physical circumstances.  These tips or steps should be a priority in your busy schedule and a guiding light when it’s dark out there and you are not sure which way to turn:

       Drink plenty of water. Your body contains nearly 90 percent of water and demands water for nearly every function. Drinking water can help you prevent or avoid feeling any pains and aches and it can even boost energy levels.

       Eat about 2-3 servings of fruit, such as grapes, strawberries, cherries and blueberries. The fruits that are brilliantly covered are loaded with disease-fighting phytonutrients, which help prevent disease and keep your body working properly. 

       Go for a short walk every day. It is important to keep moving. Your heart is an organ and muscle that works like a pump and cardiovascular exercise can activate muscle fibers programmed for endurance. Exercise can also stimulate the making of new blood vessels, which means more places for blood to flow and improved circulation.

        Meditation can train the mind just like exercise trains the body. It helps you see how your thoughts and feelings are inclined to moving in particular patterns. You can sit or lie comfortably, close your eyes, and just breath naturally. This can help you relax and produce short-term benefits such as improved blood circulation, less anxiety, slower respiratory rate, lower blood circulation, and several others.

      Practice deep breathing for at least 5 minutes.  Do this as often as possible. Research has proven that this practice can reduce stress hormone levels. Stress hormone levels can produce anxiety, lack of sleep and contribute to weight gain. 

      Eat snacks before meals including raw vegetables, hummus, almonds, and whole grain pita. These foods will help with weight loss and will also help you stabilize your mood and blood sugar levels. 

       Drink plenty of freshly made juice, and green veggies. Green veggies are the powerhouse of nutrients that heal and energize your body.

   Avoid products that may contain toxic chemicals. Products with synthetic fragrances, sodium laureth sulfate, disinfectants, etc. can be harmful. 

       Dry skin brushing. It helps remove dead dry skin, increase circulation, reduce cellulite, and help support digestion and organ function. 

    Epson salt bathing can help relaxing your muscles and minimize pain levels while also promoting a healthy heart. 


It’s all about the choices you make. These tips will help you make better choices and help you continue in the path to a healthier you. Feel good about yourself and make a habit and lifestyle out of these tips.  Embrace the new healthier you!.
