The Golden State Warriors just withstood the third home game loss all season in Game 2 by a score of 97-90 by the Memphis Grizzlies. However, Stephen Curry’s Bay Area squad, the MVP point guard is still the team you must beat in order to obtain the NBA title.

Even though the Golden State’s tied 1-1 with Memphis in order to win the championship it must be an 11/10 favorite for the first time since 1975, and fourth place comprehensively. Listed alone this past week the Warriors were stated to have 8/5 favorites.
Following the Golden State, boththe Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls are listed at a 5/1 odds in order to obtain the title, it is then followed by the Los Angeles Clippers at 11/2 and lastly the Atlanta Hawks at 12/1.
The Warriors and Curry were both coming off at a first round sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans, and throughout the routine season dropped games only at Oracle Arena.
But pushed by the reentry of Mike Conley the top point guard and his 22 points, the Grizzlies which are defensive minded downed the Golden State while holding Curry to only 19 points and 2 for 11 shoots made from a three point distance on the night he first flaunted his MVP trophy to the fans.
In the five prior games, which were all victories by the Warriors, Curry had an average of about 31.4 points and hitting an unbelievable 42.8 percent of his three pointers.
Nonetheless, if the series goes to a complete seven games, the Warriors will then recapture home court and at minimum make their first trip to the Western Conference Finals since 1976.
Currently in the Eastern Conference semifinals is battling the Cavs and the Bulls, with Derrick Rose and Co. owning a 1-0 series after winning Game 1 with a score of 99-92.

The victory additionally gave Chicago a big odds bump, moving up from 17/2 to 5/1. Whereas, Cleveland’s chances dropped minimally from 3/1 to 5/1, which can be associated with the loss of authority from Kevin Love for the remaining of the season due to  a dislocated shoulder. Twain the Cavs and Bulls should be recommended head of the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards in the East.
